The Idea
In the fight against math boredom, fun often takes a backseat and sulks in the corners.
That's why we decided to spice things up and inspire the Generation X to embrace math in a more fun way.
We came up with arcade math-machines featuring the Duolingo Maths game, giving people worldwide a chance to compete.
All they had to do was download the game and sign up.
Whoever played the arcade game had their name displayed on the screen of the world’s most prominent squares,
together with the names of their global opponents. However, if they wanted their name to stay, they needed to hold the record.
