DIRTY WATERS, DIRTY PLATES.
Microplastics are a macro issue packed into little fish cans.
Apparently, we humans love eating plastic.

“The perfect excuse to head back to my hometown”
The task: help people buy less.
They asked for a creative board.
What started as my very first student idea for my first-ever brief (that wasn’t even real)
ended up being the perfect excuse to head back to my hometown.
“Fashion is the second-largest polluter, producing 60 million tons of clothing each year.
We created fake magazine covers to announce the launch of a trendy new collection. Each outfit had its own QR code
-but none of them worked. The collection was a limited edition, available only in the closets of users’ relatives.”
The idea wasn’t anything groundbreaking. Honestly, it was the very first thing we came up with.
“
Our real idea was for Ali to come to my roots, to get to know my hometown, because she’s one of my closest friends
-and even though we’re copywriters, we love photography.
So I called my aunts, my parents, my grandmas, my friends,
half the town got involved. We gathered amazing outfits.

“Grandma, can we do a photo shoot in your living room with your 6-year-old granddaughter and her friends?”
“Of course, sweetie. Whatever you need.”

Here’s my little cousin Lucia above
-and all her tiny friends below.
We couldn’t rent the Bardenas Desert,
but we still managed to shoot there with a few friends.

We handled everything-styling, production, creative direction, photography, camera work, makeup, and set design.
We wrapped up the session in just a day and a half. We spent the rest of the half day wandering my hometown,
exhausted but grinning from ear to ear.
(Working with Ali is like our inner kids are just pretending to be grown-ups in a town square.)

Right after a tough flamenco class with “La Debla”, I came home and started writing and composing this song.

Fer read the song while experimenting with AI, and what came out of it was that the human emotion remained intact.

La Sopa
My homeland is known for its artichokes, but what truly binds my grandmother and her little granddaughter is the love for her grandmother’s soup
-pure, handmade, and brimming with heart. This is just a trail of love, woven into the very heart of my grandmother’s kitchen.
